Elecz does not require user accounts, login credentials, API keys, or authentication for normal use.
Technical data is processed solely to operate the service, monitor availability and performance, detect abuse and security incidents, debug errors, and produce aggregate usage statistics. Data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Electricity market data displayed by Elecz originates from public or licensed market sources including ENTSO-E, Octopus Energy Agile API, AEMO, EM6, CAISO OASIS, ERCOT CDR, NYISO MIS, IESO, KPX EPSIS, and JEPX via japanesepower.org.
The MCP endpoint at https://elecz.com/mcp may receive requests from AI assistants and agent platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Copilot, and other MCP-compatible clients. Elecz receives only the parameters necessary to fulfill the request, such as zone identifiers, consumption estimates, and tool parameters. Elecz does not receive account information, names, email addresses, or conversation history unless such information is explicitly transmitted by the client. Elecz does not attempt to identify individual users.
Elecz is operated from Finland. Depending on the infrastructure provider used, limited technical request data may be processed in the European Union or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Appropriate contractual and technical safeguards are used where applicable.
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect service data against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No system can guarantee absolute security, but Elecz follows industry-standard practices appropriate for a small-scale infrastructure service.
You may request information regarding data associated with your use of Elecz, or request deletion of such data, by contacting [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable period and, where required by law, within applicable legal deadlines.
If you are located in the European Union, you may have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability where applicable.
